Physical Therapist
Cert. DN

Wade Meier and Troy Marsh co-founded Meier & Marsh Physical Therapy in 2003.

Together, they have grown the practice into a successful outpatient physical therapy organization with four locations.

As an orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience, Wade brings an extensive background in the evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

His clinical approach emphasizes a thorough, systematic process of identifying the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction through careful testing and evaluation, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans designed to address those contributing factors, restore function, and achieve lasting results.

Throughout his career, Wade has served as a clinical instructor for the University of Utah Department of Physical Therapy, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Rocky Mountain University in Provo, Utah, helping educate and mentor future Doctors of Physical Therapy.

Wade graduated from the University of Utah School of Physical Therapy in 1995. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah, with a minor in Spanish.

In 2001, he became board-certified in the evaluation and treatment of hand and upper extremity disorders. He has also earned the Certified Dry Needling (Cert. DN) credential through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, recognizing his specialized training and clinical expertise in the practice of dry needling.

Wade is married to his beautiful wife and high school sweetheart, Dayna. Together, they have four children and six grandchildren.

Outside of work, Wade enjoys training for and competing in triathlons involving swimming, cycling, and running. He also enjoys fishing, hiking, backpacking, camping, and running half marathons—and just about anything else—with Dayna. Above all, he enjoys traveling and spending as much time as possible with his family.

Having served a Spanish-speaking LDS mission, Wade is fluent in Spanish and enjoys the opportunity to communicate with and serve Spanish-speaking patients.

Wade has a strong commitment to educating patients, government officials, and insurance providers about the clinical benefits and cost-saving advantages of physical therapy as an effective, drug-free approach to treating pain, restoring function, and helping people return to the activities they love.

He is equally passionate about providing exceptional clinical education and mentorship to Doctor of Physical Therapy students. Through his years of clinical instruction, he has had the privilege of helping prepare the next generation of physical therapists to deliver thoughtful, evidence-informed care and the highest standard of patient service.
